Grupo Numar (Costa Rica) has commissioned Macek Power to engineer and supply an approximate 1 MW steam turbine generator skid for installation at a process facility. The equipment will be supplied from the surplus market, re-engineered for new steam conditions, and repaired as necessary. Repairs are to be done by an affiliate shop in Costa Rica under the supervision of Macek Power. When complete, the unit will give the process facility the option of producing its own electrical power or purchasing from the local utility.
