Revak Turbomachinery Services (now part of Hoerbiger) has placed an order with Macek Power for the re-rate of two (2) General Electric generator drive steam turbines. Both units were originally non-condensing, auto-extraction machines rated at 7500 kWe. The new configurations will both be straight through (no extraction) designs capable of a minimum of 8500 kWe.
